The LED gas station lighting project in South Africa was finished in 2020. It's a newly built petrol station. According to the lighting simulation result of DIALux, we recommended our clients to choose 12pcs 150W H5 series LED gas station canopy lights with 5700K Lumileds 3030 2D chips and 110 degree beam angle. Hign-end MeanWell HLG Series driver can ensure the stable work of lamps, making it have a long lifespan. We provide up to 7 years warranty for our H Series LED Canopy Light.

At ground level, 400 lux of light is sufficient under the canopy. Furthermore, for petrol pumps, 150 lux vertical illuminance is recommended. Gas station entrances and exits should have a minimum illumination level of 10 lux. In the crossing area between canopy and store, a light level of 150 lux is sufficient.
Choosing the Right Size of Light Fixtures
Measure the width and length of the room for ambient lighting. Then add them up and translate to inches to get the perfect light fixture size. In an 810 square foot space, an 18-inch wide fixture, for example, would be ideal.
