LED Street Lighting Project In Malaysia

The city street lighting project in Malaysia was completed in 2020. It adopted ZGSM H Series modular-designed LED street lights with Inventronics dimmable driver, which could work together with ZIGBEE and LORA smart control system. With the smart control system, it's very convenient for us to monitor and control the street lamps by software on smart electronic devices like PC, mobile phone or tablet computer. After the completion of this project, the lighting effect is very good. It has become a demonstration project in Kota Serimas, Malaysia, which is of great help to the city's promotion and realization of a smart city. Our clients are very satisfied with the result.

1. Is there an industry standard for street lighting?

2. How can optics and controls help mitigate any negative impacts of public light?

   Controls for ZGSM lighting solutions, such as dusk-to-dawn sensors, can automatically dim or turn off the luminaires depending on the time of day, lowering both energy usage and any adverse environmental effects. Our solutions also include shields to reduce sidelight and uplight as well as, most crucially, "optics" to lessen glare regardless of how much blue light or what color temperature (e.g., 3,000K vs. 4,000K) they produce.
