What are Linear High bay lights?

Linear high-bay luminaires are used to illuminate large indoor areas with higher ceilings (typically 20 to 45 feet from the floor). The large space between the ceiling and the floor requires linear miner lamps to provide high lumen output, and light needs to be focused downward from the luminaire. In contrast to other types of circular or "bell-shaped" sheds, linear sheds tend to be rectangular. They can be mounted directly on the ceiling or suspended with chains or cables.
